Dutchess County Youth Bureau Beacon, New York Youth Worker for the Dutchess County Youth Services Unit                                     October 2008-present

  • Provide free weekly, individual counseling to any child in Dutchess County ages four to 21 based on individual client goals
  • Serve as an advocate for the clients who are represented by the Youth Services Unit, by attending conferences at schools or attending other agency meetings with clients and/or client families
  • Refer clients to other agencies for appropriate services based on needs-assessments
